“1) The installers of my new Downflow Heating and Air Conditioning system installed on the second floor did NOT connect the intake to the HVAC system all the way to the house return duct work leaving a 2 inch gap between the furnace intake and the house's return air system causing the system to pull return air NOT from the return air duct system but into the furnace room bypassing the return system of the house. 2) When the AC system is running in the summer, the furnace leaks condensate onto the floor bad enough causing the wet sensor to shut down the system. I have to put a towel around the base of my system to soak up the condensate before it hits the wet sensor.and turns off my system. It is a downflow system installed on the second floor. 3) Each time I had a service problem,. I told the technician the above problems.”

“we've used atmostemp for probably 20years+ and have had good and bad experiences with them. it REALLY depends on the technician. not sure how they vet them but some were truly terrible and one incident flooded part of my basement due to not rehooking humidifier. so, i probably wont recommend. Phone customer service and timing/emergency last minute appts have always been good. also noted that some techs just want to sell me a new system or parts that a local 'old time' hvac guy could and did fix, whereas atmostemp probably needs to make more money, of course. most of their techs, I have found, dont have the experience to see what is truly fixable or needs replacing. overall im happy with them IF i use my normal tech who knows my system.”

“You can no longer call them. You go through their foreign answering service who know nothing about their business Sometimes they use Canadian numbers to return your calls. I do not answer these calls as I know no one in Canada then I miss their return calls. So stupid”
