“Positives: The work was scheduled and done on time Communication with the office was good when the project was ongoing Negatives: It would have been really helpful if the layout of the patio vs the existing deck layout would have been known before the project started. There was a substantial oversupply of material. Options to consume the oversupply would have been helpful. The Village did not approve the steps leading down from the house. The workaround was just visually okay. The construction ripped up grass in many areas and also chipped my incoming gate to the yard. Access to my hose spigot has been limited with the build up against the house. It seems like we were engaged in a battle of wills over the placement of stepping stones with the owner. To this day I don't understand why he was so resistant to use the oversupply of bricks to build out a small walkway to the lawn.”
