And the crew was first rate. I always get multiple opinions and bids, but was very pleased to have selected Hal Fence again. We are thrilled with the result.”

“The estimate experience was great as the owner was very knowledgeable and recommended us what seemed best for us. Once we gave them the okay from our HOA to installed the fence Hal Co told us that they will installed it in 6 weeks. The 6 weeks pass and we did not received any updates regarding our fence installation. We had to call us multiple times in order to get any information. We understand that there was a shortage of materials because of the pandemic; but with even more reason they should be communicating better with their clients. If the deadline is coming and you know the materials are not ready, you should inform your clients of the matter. Other than the lack of communication, we are very happy with the workmanship and the materials, and will recommend Hal Co to our family and friends.”

“Here is why I grade HalCo 3 stars. I was very satisfied with the work done to my fence. However, I asked for a quote to replace the pillars on my deck - I reasked about 3 more times over the next 3 months, and I never received the promised quote. The sales agent even told me he would discuss with the company president, yet no quote was ever delivered. HalCo dropped the ball on this issue.”

“They were very difficult to deal with from the customer service perspective. The fence was not put in well. It has been less than a year, and nails are poking through the fence. The door was not aligned well. It still does not close. Thankfully, my handyman has been working on that. There have been several issues from the scheduling, to the service, and the quality of the project.”

“The reason that I won't give them a higher rating is because it took them forever to get back to me and to set up the appointment for the repairs. I called them three times to get them out here to look at the damage and took even longer for them to set up the appointment, which had to be changed a couple of times due to weather. It was a very difficult process.”
