“the reason i called them out i had one of the doors that closed on on angle, he replace everything except the springs, the door still closed on a angle he said that was the best it would do, i bought new springs and the door closes fine. he sold me $800.00 worth of what, parts i did not need”

When I offered to purchase the parts and pay them to do the labor, the rep said they could not guarantee labor unless they purchased the parts. He offered me no adjustment in the markup, so I bought the parts, hired a competitor to install and ended up paying less than half the estimated cost.”

“It was interesting. The guy came out and did the job. He worked on one garage door and installed a new one. The installer came unprepared to do the job. He did not have the right equipment. He then asked for money up front. I had to call the office for them to finally get it right. The button you push to work the garage is still not fixed. They did not secure it to the wall.”
