“Overall I think some of the cleaners do a great job however it took 3 teams before I got the team that works best for my house and any time that team is not available the work is subpar. Also for the amount spent on the cleaning you would hope that cost with cover wiping down windows however windows are additional cost. Due to the amount of times I've had to contact the company about areas missed in the home I'm not sure the amount I spend for the cleanings are worth the cost.”

“This is an attempt to be brief. Of the three categories within cleaning (vacuuming, scrubbing, and dusting), it appears that dusting is somehow more challenging. Dusting involves ALL SURFACES THAT ARE NOT VERTICAL (examples: baseboards, tops of picture frames and doorways, angled lampshades, etc. Further re dusting, the dust removal needs to be followed by using Pledge wipes (or some similar product) to remove any stickiness (on appropriate surfaces) that a dust cloth may not remove. Regarding scrubbing tile floors, the two-step process of dry mop and then wet mop really gets the job done. Our one floor that is not tile is the kitchen which is wood. I supply Swiffer products and Pledge wipes-all of which can be thrown away after use. And I hope to put together a Bona floor cleaner/mop for the kitchen floor. I also supply a very skinny dry mop to get under low furniture.”

“The cleaning is never thorough. if a shoe is in the middle of the floor, they don’t move it to vacuum, they vacuum around it. If books are on an end table, they don’t move them to dust, they dust around it. They use the same cloth on the countertop and the bathroom mirror and it leaves streaks in the mirror. The carelessness goes on and on.”

“Not at all. Maid Bright workers who come to my home are polite, kind, and totally unaware of what my contract reads. I have only encountered 1 worker who had an attitude and wanted to get out of here quickly. When I notice that a worker is doing something wrong (something spelled-out in my contract) I have to use Google Translate to explain what they should, and what they should not, be cleaning. Over the years, I have called Maid Bright and I have spoken with 5 different management / administration people. After years when I called and spoke with a male (name begins with M) and told him how I needed to postpone my cleaning the next day, his first response was "you will need to pay a $50 cancellation fee" when I was just postponing due to illness? Then, after negotiating a price for a one-room heavy-detailed clean, the worker called the office and the same male told me that my previously negotiated price (with Betsy) was wrong and I needed to pay more??? The last young lady I spoke with was the only person who truly listened and repaired the issue and the relationship.”

“Last April the Maids were ver late so I called the office and was told that it would be a long wait. No one called me I had to call them. I was so angry I canceled the service then and there. The woman in the office couldn’t care less and since then no one has asked me why I canceled. Cleaning is ok management is indifferent”
