“I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. We ordered windows from the company in September 2020. Signed the contract and everything towards the beginning of the month. We were told that it could take 6-8 weeks for the windows to be ordered and arrive to be installed. We though, okay fine since timeframe for installation should be in October. Two weeks later the guy came to take the measurements, which pushed back our installation but still thought as long as they are in the by the winter, it will save us money on heating bills. The person they sent to take the measurements was unfortunately pretty rude and seems more bothered by the fact that two of the windows would require custom measurements due to the unusual size and shape. Again, thought whatever as long as we get our windows in before temps get cold. Then October rolls around I send an email checking the status of the order. At that point, I'm told that they need to revise the order since supposedly the factory said they couldn't make two of the windows, keep in mind this was well over a month since the measurements were taken. So at that point, our order I think was actually put in. Again, I thought okay end of November maybe beginning of December is when they should be ready. Those months roll around and with me being the one to constantly reach out to check the status. I have all of this in email traffic too to verify dates. Long story short, we did not receive our windows and have them installed until beginning of JANUARY!!!! 4 months after we signed the contract and paid our deposit. And all I received was maybe an "i'm sorry email". I will never use this company again and based on how we were treated as customers. I always had to be the one reaching out and sometimes I would get a response and sometimes I wouldn't. So I'd have to stay on top of it and if I had not, we would have maybe received our windows sometime in the Spring. Absolutely terrible customer service all around!!!”

“Overall they seemed good. They were the most expensive quote and I was expecting top level service. The sales process was convincing (they fully mapped out the attic and used a heat camera to show me hot spots, etc). The work crew were professional, respectful and on time (only problem is their truck scratched into my driveway and left a small hole). Where I think they fell short was the lack of follow up. I went with them because of the warranty and the flashy sales process. I was hoping they would come back after the installation and checked again with the heat camera.”

“Unfortunately, both the work and the result of the work have not been great. I initially asked for insulation of a crawl space. That was accomplished. However, as I'm storing items in the crawl space, I can see tape on the seams coming off. I had also asked about an energy assessment of the house and recommended remedies for energy issues. Particularly the issue of having a very uneven temperature between upper and lower level during the summer. An assessment was made and it was recommended to blow insulation into the attic. There were four issues: (1) only after the insulation was blown into the attic did I see that there was no no way for another contractor (e.g., electrician, chimney contractor, etc.) to navigate the attic. The insulation so high that it makes moving in the attic impossible. I wish that would have been made clear from the beginning. (2) A sizable OSB sheet that was supposed to act as a barrier for the insulation to stay in place was never attached and just loosely put on top of cables. (3) Insulation was also sprayed into the recess lights. That pink insulation has been falling out all summer all over the kitchen and other rooms. That's especially a problem as some of the recess lights are located over the cooking area and insulation can fall into food. I can understand that this might be hard to avoid but I wish I would have been told that that could happen. I have gone around and scraped off the pink insulation where visible to prevent this from happening. (4) The most disappointing part of this experience, however, is that the insulation seems to have done virtually nothing to address our energy issue. The temperature difference between the upper and lower levels are as high as it has ever been (15 degrees and more). I don't know what causes it but I wish I had been given a better assessment of the causes of that issue and means to address is. That said, the crew was professional and clean. So this is not so much related to the execution of the task (perhaps with the exception of #2) but with the promise of solving my energy problem. The way it appears to me know is that I have spent a significant amount of money on filling up my attic with insulation that does nothing for my energy bill but makes it extremely difficult to navigate the attic. Of course, I understand that insulation is a standard way of addressing such an issue and that your approach was perfectly reasonable. I'm just disappointed that it has had little to no effect for my situation.”
