“The move itself was fine for the most part, my main problem was a communication issue, I was told on the phone that the extra hour would only be billed if it lasted that long, and when the movers came they told me that the extra hour would be billed anyway. When I called the main office, they told me they had never done it that way (billing an extra hour only if it took that long). I have had a great experience with 495 Movers prior to this, but I would probably not recommend them after this experience.”

“495 Movers did a fantastic job with the move. However, in the past 6 weeks since the move, they have constantly spammed me through texts, emails, and phone calls begging me to leave a review. Seriously obnoxious.”
“The whole experience was a great waste of time, money, and energy. After quoting me for more hours than both my partner and I thought we’d every possibly need, they showed up on the day of our move. They moved with the urgency and speed of a Sunday driver. They ended up, somehow, getting all the hours in they had quoted us. However, when they came and did an EXTENSIVE pre-move walkthrough to give us an estimate, they didn’t get about 45% of the things we had agreed upon them moving. They also left things a mess and broke multiple, family heirlooms and a laptop.”

“The movers were on time, courteous, and extremely hard-working. The only problem was that I had told 495 Movers a couple of weeks before the move that I was afraid I had really underestimated how much stuff we had and that we might need a fourth mover. The person I worked with told me that it was fine, they would just work more hours. But as soon as the movers arrived they realized they needed one more person. I was fine with paying for the extra person but annoyed that the office worker hadn't listened to me when I said that I thought we might need more people.”

“Competitive price and overall good experience. There was some minor issues -- they left several wall mounting things attached to the walls that I had to ask to be removed and packed during the final walkthrough. Same thing happened one drawer of kitchen things and a small picture frame.”
“I would recommend them to my friends. I liked that it was all very easy. I didn't have to actually move anything myself. I liked that they took apart my bed and reassembled my bed when we got to my new place. I think what I liked the most was that there were no hidden fees, so the number that I was quoted was the same price in the end.”

“Because of Covid-19 complications and delays on construction of my new apartment, I had to re-schedule my move three times. 495 Movers couldn't have been more flexible, helpful, or accommodating. The move itself, especially the delivery at my out-of-state destination, went like clockwork. I have nothing but respect for this company and gratitude for the professionalism and helpfulness of its employees.”
