“I was very disappointed with their method of scheduling monthly visits since I had no input into the day or time a technician might showup. Much valuable time was lost trying to change a date that was not convenient for me and a few times the technician showed up anyway. Also, there were visits when I had to show or tell the technician what to do since the Critter Control changed them several times. In particular, we had a serious wasp and bee problem and the technician was allergic to them and could not spray for them. I called in a complaint and was told someone else be come out to take care of the wasps and bees and no one called back nor showed up.”

“We've used Critter Control for several jobs. They did a fantastic job removing bats from our attic area a few years ago. Mouse control in our attic has been ongoing and well done. Our last experience with them this past summer, however, was very disappointing. We had ground hogs and skunks under our front and back porches. The company charged a lot of money but did not follow through as they had explained, cutting short on the number of visits and baits. The ground hogs and skunks were never trapped. They also did Exclusion Repairs, installing fencing under our front porch, but it was poorly executed. The manager called me after I complained to the worker, and this manager argued with me, talking down at me, in a very disrespectful manner. I called CC's main office and was very well treated by Nola, the Northeast Customer Representative. She was very helpful, and frankly, it is only because of her excellent customer service care that we're still using CC.”

“We spent more than $800 with Critter Control. The problem was never solved, we never got some of the animal traps we paid up front for, they did not show up at regular intervals as promised to check the traps etc., they did not respond to any of my multiple requests to cancel their services and be partially refunded. In fact, even after I send two emails making it more than clear that we no longer wanted their services, they still showed up to try to do work. This was one of the most expensive and disappointing businesses we've worked with.”

“It was terrible! They came on Easter Monday. I had a raccoon and they told me I had wood rot and the whole soffit was missing and because it was mating season it would be very busy and they'd try to get to me. Ten days pass and they're not here and the raccoon is having babies in my roof. I don't have an attic, she was right in the ceiling over my bedroom. I called them and they said they were very busy and mine wasn't as bad as other people and they were taking them in order. I said absolutely not. I was going to pay them $1300 for this! He said they can't get there for another week. Meanwhile, she's having babies in the wall and ripping wood so I called him the next day and said somebody has to get here to set up the trap. At 7 pm the poor guy came with another tech and they put the wiring up and set the trap. They finally get rid of the raccoon and they were going to come in a week to do the woodwork. They never came because the guy who was supposed to come his son was rushed to the hospital and then there was covid in the office. I said to him stop taking customers. If you can't do this stop taking customers until you can and explain to people you can't do this right away because of Covid. Then he attacked me in an email and says you teachers who shut us down are causing families to lose jobs because Covid is making this difficult. I explained that people sending their kids to school sick is what's closing schools. He was not a very nice man. So I called my credit card company they said I was in my right but they couldn't just stop it I had let them try to fix this. He couldn't do it. It was 4pm in the afternoon. No one is at my house yet and I said you're not sending someone at 4 to do this major reconstruction. You're not working at my house in the dark. You broke the contract. You're done. You were supposed to be here on April 10th it's now the 23rd. He gave me all of my deposit back and he said to me good luck finding somebody to fix this. I said don't you worry I will. I had a carpenter come and they did a lovely job. They put up the new flashing and did a perfect job. Would I recommend him? Nope! Part of the issue was they were in a different county from me. I didn't realize that they were coming from the Tom's River area. I live down the short. Most of their work was done in Tom's River and up. I did talk to Western this week who is my exterminator who recommended these people and I said you need to understand they are coming from a different county and they didn't know that. They didn't have enough people to do the job.”

“The service was terrible, inconsistent and the entire time my mole problem got worse. I repeatedly asked for my refund only to get the runaround, I spoke to Terry, a Supervisor in your company, who said he was going to discuss my case with a manager. I have been calling him for 3 weeks, and he too is giving me the runaround. Everyone to date, has been very unprofessional.”

“I have a monthly service done to monitor the activity of the critters. Victoria always calls and lets me know she's coming. She checks all the boxes. I haven't really seen any abnormal digging since I have Critter Control. Before I had sinking ground, especially around my air conditioner. They were making tunnels and digging all over.”
