“At first assessment the tech could not identify why there was an issue with my water heater. The controls were working and there was no error message on the computer components. He contacted the manufacturer for assistance. I am thankful that he reached out for help rather than just tinker around and make the issue worst. I will definitely contact James A. Wheat and Sons again if needed.”

“I have been a client for over 20 years. My last experience was horrible. They were supposed to replace a dryer part. They brought the wrong thing after I had been clear about what I wanted - a white not silver part. I put over 200 dollars down (1/3). I did not allow them to put this part in. I called - crying - talked to one of the sons. No one has followed up re getting a new part that is white, no one has reimbursed my down payment - nothing. So today, I would not recommend them even though I have recommended them for years. 1 bad customer experience such as this negates 20 years of ok to good service.”

“Since being an Eagle Club member, I do not think the $50 monthly membership fees provide any advantage. After replacing an expensive part (fan motor) during the biannual system check, we continued to receive "system malfunction" alerts on the thermostat. Turns out another part needed to be replaced and it is not understood how this was missed after replacing the fan motor and running a full system check. Trying to reschedule a technician to come out during this issue was complicated when it should not have been. I have yet to receive the itemized invoice when the fan motor was replaced or any information about a warranty, even after contacting the office. Scheduling in general with the company is inefficient. They cannot guarantee a time slot and you do not know when a technician is coming until after 5pm the night before. This is especially difficult when all adults in the house work full time and need advanced notice to rearrange our work schedule. As an Eagle member we are supposed to have priority, but I did not feel like a valued customer or that my concerns were properly addressed. Eagle Club membership includes access to 15% off all service repairs, priority scheduling, and after-hours emergency service access. Priority scheduling is an ordeal and even though there is access to emergency services, you still have to pay for time and a half or holiday time if the technician has to come outside of normal business hours. I do not see how the monthly membership fee provides any additional benefit.”
