“I needed a new heat pump, so I sought out estimates. It's not something you buy every day, so to me, it's a scary endeavor. I wanted a brand made in the USA. I wanted an energy efficient unit. I wanted to make sure that the installation was done correctly. That's hard to measure ahead of time, but the knowledge of the salesman is important for explaining how the unit would be installed. My current unit was set up in a rather convoluted manner and did not want a repeat of that. I mulled over the 3 estimates and sought out references over a period of 2 weeks, then made my decision. The installers built a new cabinet for the unit so we would not have a problem with a heat pump sitting too closely on top of a oil burner. This very hot summer, the unit has been terrific. I will know more in the winter, as we use the heat pump as our first source of heating.”

“The guys from Wm. Henderson showed up 20 minutes early, which impressed me. They told me they expected to be there until at least 2:00-2:30, but they were finished by noon-12:30. They left my house looking like it did before they got there, and they did a nice job patching up the lawn where they had to dig a significant hole to pull through the new sewer line.”

“Our home took a power surge. This knocked our heating/AC unit out of commission. The service technician stated it "may" need a new transformer and some other part. It would cost us to replace the two parts and there will STILL BE NO GUARANTEE that the unit will operate. Cost would be over $800 just for the two parts. We had another company come in for an estimate. Their technician decide to put a new transformer in the unit. If it worked, he would charge us for the part (and service). If it didn't work, he would simply remove the new transformer. GUESS WHAT? IT WORKED. Nowthat is what I call excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!”

“We had an appointment to get a new toilet installed. Not only did they not show up, but we also had to call them multiple times to figure out why not. We ended up going with another company. We have used Wm. Henderson Plumbing & Heating in the past and they were okay. I kept calling them and they could not have cared less. We ended up scrambling to find another plumber and payed double what we should have payed.”
