“I liked the attention I got from the contact person (supervisor maybe?) who came to valuate the project and once work was completed, contacted me to hear my feedback. The work good in general. When we did the walkthrough, there some windows on the third floor of the townhouse that were not fully cleaned. I asked them to clean them well and they started giving me excuses on why they could not be cleaned, and how it would be difficult to remove the dirt. Nevertheless I insisted. They had to take out the ladder again (which they had already put back into their truck) and go up to perform the cleaning. Sure enough, they were able to easily remove the dirt. I did not like that attitude. Next time I would get a written confirmation that the windows will be thoroughly cleaned before they are ready to leave.”

“I am tossed on how to review Advantage Pro Services (APS). I got an appointment for work within 24 hours of my call. The crew arrived early, were courteous, efficient and willing to answer any questions. All that was 5 stars. That being said the person I spoke with on the phone to arrange the work, although very courteous, was also very pushy, trying to sell me biannual services which I did not need. I only needed the front gutters on my two story house cleaned (first time in 11 years), but the sales rep “highly recommended” that I schedule a full house gutter cleaning. So, not actually able to see the gutters, I reluctantly agreed. The crew spent about 35 minutes at my house and 98+% of the work was on the front gutters. The rest of the gutters were clean as I predicted. For 35 minutes work I was given a “final” invoice by the crew for the original amount for a full house, one time gutter cleaning of $387 (includes tax). I originally agreed to this amount, so reluctantly paid it. My post job inquiry to APS as to whether the price remained the same given the actual, limited work required was ignored. I was contacted by the billing department about my bill and how I would like to pay it. This was disturbing because I gave a credit card number to the sales rep when scheduling the work, which was to be charged upon completion of the work, but it seems APS lost this information. I told APS via e-mail with the draft review above attached that I would send a check, not wanting to give out credit card information again to an organization that cannot seem to secure it. APS immediately contacted me, apologizing for lack of response, agreed to reduce my bill to $324 (including tax…their “minimum” charge) and that the missing credit card had been found. Via e-mail, I thanked them, told them to go ahead and use the relocated credit card for my bill. A week later there was no charge, so I finally called and the polite person on the phone said my credit card would be charged the same day and it was indeed, finally charged. To top it off the company I originally wanted to do the work finally got back to me and their price was half of what APS charged for the same work! So, finally, office reps 2 stars (all polite, but execution lacking at times), price 1 star, response time and workers 5 stars…total 2+ stars. The next time, I will try someone else with more reasonable charges. My fault for impatience, but the front gutters were overflowing during some rainy weather and to their credit, APS arrived the next day after my call. I had used the original company I wanted for work in the past with good results, but they were too slow at responding this time. Too busy? Given the price difference, I am not surprised.”
