“The homeowner needs to stay close to the job entire the time so that they can keep an eye out for any issues. After the roof was put on there were areas that were bowed and should have been replaced or pointed out to me so I can make a decision but this was after the hurricane and people were trying to get the roofs on fast. There needed more attention to what was going on under the shingles. Everyone spoke Spanish except the supervisor but he was going to different sites. I was really excited to get the roof before the 2nd hurricane, Hurricane Delta hit.”

“Roofers always talk about how they don't use automatic nail guns, and they hand nail all of the shingles in place. The day of the installation, there were some weather concerns, so they asked me if they could use the automatic nail guns. Of course, I agreed at the time, but now I'm wondering if I was coerced into allowing them to use nail guns versus making them hand nail the shingles into place.”
“The situation is that I had a water leak from my atrium into the house above a sliding glass door. They replaced the siding, insulation, and the inside drywall. It amounted to $4,000 worth of work, and I still have the leak. David Hernandez is supposed to come back because it is under warranty. He hasn't been back to fix it yet, and it may be because of rain. However, the problem still exists.”
