“We had a great experience with NuLook; however, still waiting on a solution for our chimney to match the new siding. It was left the same color as the previous siding. Which by the way- this wasn’t NuLook’s responsibility to match the chimney, but it does look out of place. I reached out to our project manager who responded immediately and told me they would find a solution.”

“NO, we will NEVER recommend Nu Look Home Design to anybody. We will be warning EVERYONE we know to stay away from your company. We are absolutely DISGUSTED by the sleazy, dishonest, deceptive, bait and switch tactics of your salesman, Jon Harris, who preys upon recently widowed elderly women (explained second to last paragraph below) Here's an overview of our experience with your company: We contacted your company after we noticed an outside vent on our first floor was bent, leaving a wide opening for animals to get inside (this part of the house only has one floor, there is no second floor above it). We assumed that an animal had gotten inside, especially since we sometimes heard scratching sounds above the first floor ceiling. At that time we did not know how to access the first floor attic and we thought that animals probably got in through openings in the roof. So although we had reservations about your company (see last paragraph below), my mother decided to call your company because we felt we had an emergency on our hands and she heard the advertisements on a radio show she trusted. Your sleazy salesman, Jon Harris showed up (as he was leaving, I recognized his car--see second to last paragraph below). We explained the open vent and our fear that there were animals living in the first floor attic. He went out to investigate and came back saying that the he could not push the vent back together, and that he looked inside and saw a squirrel nest and hornets nest (in retrospect, we realize he was LYING- see last paragraph). He PROMISED that your roofers would remove the animals and fix the broken vent (another LIE). The only reason we agreed to the over-priced sale was because we did not know how else to get rid of the animals and assumed no other roofer would do this. But he emphatically INSISTED that your company would take care of the animals and broken vent. But of course this did not happen--the roofers arrived, had no knowledge of the animal removal issue or the broken vent job and simply worked on removing the old roof and putting on the new roof. Also in our meeting with your sleazy, dishonest, deceptive salesman, Jon Harris, my mother was under the impression that she was getting the April Promo, which included no money down, no interest, no payment until 2024 and a restaurant gift card. He asked if my mother needed financing and my mother said no since she has the money. Much later we found out that because she did NOT take the financing then the April Promo did NOT apply. Jon Harris NEVER explained to my mother that if she did NOT take financing then none of the April Promo would apply (I was here and a witness). She was puzzled by why she had to pay the deposit, but she was willing to do so because of the false promises and LIES by Jon Harris about taking care of animals in the attic. Though she was willing to make a deposit, she was still under the impression that she did not have to pay the final bill until 2024. She was under the impression that she was getting the April Promo because on the paper he gave her with prices, there was a section that said "Promotion Type" and the sleazy Jon Harris filled in "April Promo." This was obviously some sort of deceptive bait and switch operation--my mother was not told that if she doesn't accept financing, then the promo deal did not apply. (she had no need to take financing because she had the money) We were also NOT impressed with the quality of the work. We believe the men did a rushed job because we were supposed to get rain later in the afternoon. In retrospect, they should have cancelled and waited for a clear day to do the job. There was black tar on the brown shingles on the front of the house, part of the first floor roof that extends from the porch to the garage is not straight near the garage (it sticks up), there were pieces of plastic from the wrappers left hanging off the house, and from the front window in the master bedroom, we see a section of the roofing over the garage is not cut straight. Now, how do I know that your sleazy salesman, Jon Harris, preys upon recently widowed elderly women? Because he actually showed up at our house BEFORE we ever contacted your company (I live here and am taking care of my elderly 84-year-old mother and my sick disabled sister). He rang our doorbell, but we did not answer because we only open the door for people we know. However, I looked out the window and looked at the car--I did NOT recognize it, but it was a very distinctive and unique long white vehicle (I now realize it was long because he has a ladder in there). We also found a letter in our mailbox saying that the person was driving by and noticed a shingle was missing from our roof and YOUR COMPANY INFO was included!!!. The letter was written in a script font to make it look like a handwritten letter, but it was obviously typed. So I went outside with binoculars to investigate from the street and I could NOT see any missing shingles, even with binoculars. I immediately thought this was some kind of scam preying on recently widowed elderly. There's NO way a person driving by could see missing shingles, and how is it that they had this pre-printed letter ready to go with YOUR COMPANY info included???? So why did Jon Harris show up on our doorstep BEFORE we ever called your company? Obviously, he reads the obituaries and looks for recently widowed elderly people and shows up 6 months later. There's NO other explanation!!! He probably assumes that elderly widows are vulnerable and the perfect prey for his deceptive sales tactics. And how do we know your sleazy salesman Jon Harris was lying about seeing the squirrels and hornets nest? Because after the roofing job was done and we still heard animal scratching and we found an indoor access point to the first floor attic, we called Master Attic to take care of the problem. Roberto, the project manager, told us there were NO squirrels and he was emphatic about this--he saw NO evidence of squirrels and that our problem was that we had bats in the attic.”

I was told an install manager will be present on site during installation but didnt didnt happen. I had to stay out in the cold weather to supervise all the work done. Clean up after job was sub par. Lot of nails left in the garden which I had to collect later on”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My sales person Ken was so personable and made himself available for all of my questions and walked me through the entire process. The office staff were also very nice and explained the process so that I knew exactly what was taking place. The installation crew were also very professional and did a wonderful job cleaning up. I explained I had dogs and how important it was that all nails were picked up so the dogs wouldn't step on them. They were totally understandable and seemed to do an extra once over to make sure all was good.”
