“Terrible experience after we got the solar installed. Customer is very bad. The agen lt Brian whom we worked with will call us constantly before we got the solar and went with your company, now that we are having problems he does not even answer his phone..We had it installed in the summer an we have been having problems 2x already with the gateway meter..I have called and called..No help. I received some documents to sign for them to look into the problem and it has been almost a month and I still haven't heard anything from anyone at solar energy world. WE PAID CASH UP FRONT FOR THIS AND THIS IS THE TERRIBLE SERVICE WE GET BACK.”

“Yes, I would recommend Solar Energy World, but I believe they are divided into three companies. I'm very satisfied with Solar Energy World, the salesman, and the ones who repaired it. They are under an umbrella company, and it involved Sunnova who monitored the system. I strongly disagree that I would recommend Sunnova.”

“The process of onboarding is not efficient: lack of communication, no support, no follow-up. I am completely dissatisfied. I had high expectations with the solar but not the proper results.”
“Since installing solar panels on my house, I have learned that the way they were put on wasn't the best. I wasn't given a choice of how I wanted them installed. The best way is not to install them directly on the roof. The best way is to have a frame built around the roof and have the panels installed on the frame, not directly on the roof.”

“Great in the beginning, great getting almost free energy, great staff. The not so great, about half of my microconverters were damaged during a storm (I did not know that was a thing) and it took over 2 months for them to be replaced. I thought using a local solar company would mean not having to worry about delays in repair/replacement, I was wrong. 2 months and updates were few and far between. I had to call to get updates, my repair date was changed and I did not know until I called because the technicians did not show up. Communication was not the best, however the people were super friendly and apologetic. 2 months of missing out on some very sunny days during the summer was very disappointing.”

“Our experience with Solar Enegy World was terrific, from beginning to end. The sales rep explained everything including al of our options and the whole process went exactly as he said it would. The schedulers kept us fully informated. The installation team was wonderful. They had to come back to finish the EV installation that we also purchased although we don't have a plug-in car yet, but it made sense to do it now since we know our next car will be one. Finally, they took care of all of the licensiong and coordination with our power company, which occurred while we were on vacation. It was an awesome day when we got the call from Solar Energy World to "Turn it on" and we began to generate power!”

“I was pleased with the actual installation. I feel the salesperson could have been better and had concerns about installing solar panels on a flat roof. This concern was voiced to the salesman several times, and he could have described the system used on the roof—it could have been handled better. At the end of the contracting process, I had made it clear to the salesperson several times that we probably would want to install more panels than needed for our electrical consumption. We talked about 21 panels, and he called, saying the 21 panels would exceed our consumption, but we could have up to 29 panels. I told him I would think about it, and then I told him we wanted to go to 25 panels. My problem is that the marginal price for the additional panels is more than the average price of the original panels. I feel the price was inflated on the last few panels because they knew I wanted them.”

“Solar energy was super from initial introduction to final installation. They kept me fully informed going through the process. Installation was efficiently done in one day and installers were pleasant in explaining what they were doing. There was one small item that needed fixing and they responded in hours to complete the task. I could not be happier with this experience and highly recommend them.”
