“This was a scam to get me to replace an a/c unit that did t need it. The guys worked together to not give info (nobody knows anything except I have to h e someone else from sales call me) and to do the job wrong costing me multiple days taking off of work. They charged $1400 to replace a $200 fan which took about an hour, you do the labor charges calculation🙄. Not good. Then, tried to sell me a condenser for $5k or a whole new unit for $7k with the better hurry there only one left story. Which was not true because they had them the following week. Through another company I was able to replace the coil condenser with the same brand for under $1k. It makes me sick how people try to take advantage. I pre paid for all the services to come out and look at, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. This was a test to see if I wanted this service on my daughters, father n law and a second house for us. I did pay up front and didn’t argue the tip off charge of $1400 and was going to most likely pay for future work discovered by the service checks. I am glad I had the bad experience before I got in too deep and came out of pocket beyond reason. I have lost all trust in this company. I am writing this review out of courtesy for any management that may care and want to see the company become a stand up quality company in the future. Good luck.”

“Abacus was prompt and found the source of the issue quickly. I received two quotes, one for just fixing the problem and a second for replacing the full length of pipe with PEX tubing. Both felt overpriced, but given the urgency of the issue (water main line burst), we were happy to have the work done right the first time. The contractor was incredibly polite and respectful as he walked me through what may have caused the issue and let me get pictures for future reference. I would use them again for an emergency but would get a second quote for a less urgent issue.”
